Coffee punch is a great twist on the ordinary drinks that are traditionally served at parties. Who doesn’t love coffee, and actually my brother who can’t stand coffee even loves this punch. Every time I have made it there have not been any leftovers!
- 1 pot very strong coffee - cooled
- 2 quarts whipping cream
- 4 tbsp sugar
- 3 tbsp vanilla
- 2 -3 cups vanilla ice cream (if you really love coffee, try coffee ice cream)
Brew your coffee. Make sure it is strong because it is going to be diluted quite a bit. (making your coffee the day before will save you time the day of your party too!)
While the coffee is hot stir in the sugar and vanilla. Mix well and refrigerate until cool.
To assemble cut ice cream into one inch cubes and place in punch bowl. Pour coffee, and whipping cream into punch bowl over the ice cream. When the ice cream goes in first the coffee will allow it to froth a little!
Serve immediately and enjoy!!
**To mix it up a bit try some flavored syrups, chocolate, or different flavors of ice cream too!!
Coffee ice cream is my personal favorite!
