There are always those recipes that are called your company recipes. You tend to serve them for company because they are easy and most everyone enjoys them. This is one of those meals. A dear lady at my church Bea served this at her house when I was there visiting and she shared the recipe with me. It is very tasty, and before you look at the ingredients and think they don’t sound so great together, you will have to try it because it really tastes much different than you would think by reading it. Hope you all enjoy!!
Ingredients
- 6 Boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 pkg onion soup mix
- 1 can whole cranberry sauce
- One 8 oz bottle of catalina dressing
Directions
Mix all of the ingredients together and pour over chicken.
Bake uncovered at 350° for 1 hour.
Serve with potatoes or rice.
trying it tonight… let you know how it is received… The rest of the family is coming over for dinner
Tried and loved it….actually the whole family did…I made white rice as a side and it was the perfect complement…. Thank you Jess
I tried this and it’s delicious, served over brown rice!
My friends Amy and Fritz and I are going to try this tonight. We’d say that I’m sure it’ll taste delicious…but we messed up the amount of the salad dressing. Oh well…maybe twice as much will taste good too. I’m determined to try it again someday the RIGHT way :)
Ok, so even though we messed it up, it tasted pretty good regardless. Thanks for the great recipes. I’m definitely trying it again someday.
